County Councillor John Burden
John has been working hard for residents at KCC since the 2017 by-election. Since then, John has served as the Spokesperson for Labour on Adult Social Care and Planning and has highlighted some of the Conservative deficiencies in social care that affect so many residents. John lives locally, is a Chartered Surveyor by profession and has a long track record of public service which he would be honoured to continue with your support.
County Councillor Lauren Sullivan
Lauren is the Deputy Leader of Labour at Kent and the Labour Party Education spokesperson. A qualified teacher Lauren has been fighting hard for residents at KCC on issues such as SEND, potholes, one-way systems, speed limits, social care and flytipping. Lauren lives in Northfleet with her husband and two young children, works as a research scientist and would be privileged to have your support.
Emma lives close to Gravesend town centre with her family of 4 children and has lived in North Kent all her life. As well as raising her young children, Emma also works in local government finance. Emma was elected as a borough councillor in 2019 for Central and enjoys working hard to represent the views and needs of residents. During the pandemic, she volunteered to deliver lunches to families in need and the vulnerable.
Tony lives in Whitehill with his family. Born in Denton Tony is a local man having lived most his life in Gravesend. Tony worked for major Telecom providers before working locally for
charities and starting his own business. Tony is a family man with strong ties to the local community, a Borough Councillor and a committee member of the local Sikh Gurdwara, and volunteered as a project lead, serving 65,000 meals to the vulnerable and local hospitals in the area.
Daniel lives and works in Gravesham producing specialist videos that are designed to help people in the early stages of dementia to reconnect with their memories and stimulate
conversation with their families and carers. He is often found volunteering in the borough distributing food to homeless people and those in need. As a local photographer, he is
passionate about conserving the natural beauty of Gravesham, regularly documenting the landscape and wildlife in his work.
