BBC Breakfast Feature on Street Light

BBC Breakfast TV have done a feature with interviews from the sister of a young man killed, where the coroner has said that the lack of street lights where a contributing factor in his death. Alistair Scott from the Institution of Lighting Professionals is interviewed about switching off street lights, and he recommends that lighting professionals are involved in the risk assessment along with road safety bodies.

He suggests a better use of technology, with the ability to dim street light so that you can have differing light levels at different times.
