Lauren spoke about fully funding social care so that everyone can have dignity in old age and through disability and investing in our schools and health services so that every child gets the best education they can and people are treated as soon as possible with the best possible health care.
Housing was another issue raised and Lauren wishes to champion, as we have a need not just for affordable housing but also Council housing.
Lauren won the vote of our members overwhelmingly and said ‘thank you to the Gravesham Labour Party for their trust in me and we shall be getting our there meeting with local people and be a listening and a campaigning party as we can only gain the trust of local people by showing that our hard work and determination will deliver for local people and rebuild our community after the years of devastation and lack of investment from the Tory Government’
